Tracey Friss

Tracey grew up in Connecticut and is expected to graduate from the University of Connecticut in May of 2008. She is pursuing a B.S. in Chemistry and plans on attending graduate school afterwards. In the lab she is working on developing caged zinc complexes for Zn2+ while learning organic synthetic and spectroscopic techniques. She began her research in the summer of 2006 as part of the CBIA/Pfizer fellowship under the guidance of Dr. Burdette. Outside of the lab; Tracey competes for the UConn Ballroom Dance Team, enjoys out door activities, spending time with friends, and doing gymnastics when she gets the chance.

Bella Vogt

My name is Bella Vogt and I am going to be a Junior at Uconn.  I am pursing a B.S. in Pathobiology while double minoring in MCB and Human Rights. I am interested in medical chemistry as well.  When I am not on campus I volunteer for AHEC (Health Education) and help with the Universal Health Care Campaign.  I also recently became a certified EMT-B and plan on working or volunteering as such.  I enjoy hanging out with friends/family, going to the movies and reading in my spare time.
