The Chemistry Club
Welcome to the Chemistry Club!
We offer ongoing training for demonstrations
and Chemistry activities. Our outreach brings us to area grade
schools, where we interact directly with future scientists,
using our newest and best materials. We are also planning
field trips to industry (pharmaceutical, industrial).
If you are interested in learning demonstrations using the
real stuff, email any of our officers!

Goal: Boston 2007
SAACS will be attending the National ACS Meeting in Boston
MA August 19-23. We will be presenting a poster about all
of our 2006-2007 activities, including field trips to Bodies
in New York City and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Groton CT.
We also will be detailing our outreach program, which included
Goodwin Elementary School and the CPTV Family Science Expo
in East Hartford CT. We did countless experiments with children
and would like to invite you to join the fun with UCONN's
Chemistry Club in 2007-2008!
