Overview
The Graduate Student Symposium Planning Committee at the University of Connecticut, (GSSPC), is offering sponsorship opportunities for a symposium to be held from August 17th to the 21st of 2008 during the 236th American Chemical Society National Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The GSSPC is responsible for planning an ACS national symposium and one of the major responsibilities of this event is to obtain funding through sponsorship. Our committee has recognized the importance in demonstrating the effectiveness of transitioning chemistry toward the use of greener chemical processes and have chosen to focus on this shift.
Through sponsorship, corporate sponsors can increase their visibility and receive recognition for their endorsements of green chemistry. By following the principles of green chemistry, we can potentially provide a cleaner environment, promise higher efficiency, and reduce waste. Thus, improving profit margins.
