Connor Boyle

Connor Boyle
Assistant Professor in Residence
UConn Waterbury

Background: Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst

Current position: Assistant Professor in Residence at UConn Waterbury. This is my first year at UConn, and I am excited about students' curiosity and enthusiasm about Chemistry courses, collaboration within the Waterbury campus, and collaboration across all campuses at UConn.

Courses Taught: General Chemistry (CHEM 1127Q) and Organic Chemistry (CHEM 2241, CHEM 2242, CHEM 2443, and CHEM 2444) lectures and labs.

Fun Fact: I enjoy exploring state parks and solving puzzles.

Louis Pascal Riel

Louis Pascal Riel
Assistant Professor in Residence
UConn Avery Point

Background: Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at the University of Connecticut (2021); B.S. at the University of Arizona (2014); Research Associate at Ventana Medical Systems (2016)

Current position: Assistant Professor in Residence at the UConn Avery Point Campus

Courses taught: CHEM 1127Q, 1128Q, 2443, 2444

Fun fact: I eschew the wearing of pants (shorts FTW!) and close toed shoes unless it is freezing outside, or I must enter a laboratory. I look forward to playing alongside fellow faculty members in next summer's graduate student vs. faculty soccer game. To my once-colleagues, I'm sorry I joined the dark side.
