Dear Class of 2020,

It has been a pleasure getting to know many of you over your time at UConn. I only wish that I could be there in person to congratulate you as you graduate and start the next chapter in your lives. These unprecedented times are a challenge for us all, but should not define us.

Although we cannot gather together in Storrs to celebrate, we do not want to leave the event unmarked. Instead, we are coming to your home!

Here you will find a special video from the faculty and staff of the Chemistry Department congratulating you, along with a Commencement Program, a slideshow highlighting your accomplishments, and a special musical message from Dr. Tom Seery. Do take a look at all these and enjoy!

Wishing you all the best for the future,

Dr. Nicholas E. Leadbeater
Undergraduate Program Director
UConn Department of Chemistry

Congratulations,
Chemistry Class of 2020!

In the time of COVID-19, the UConn Class of 2020 will not be celebrating their graduation in-person.

In spite of this, the UConn Chemistry community has come together (virtually) to wish our graduating students the very best of luck in all their future endeavors!
