Background
Flavio Maran is Professor of Physical Chemistry at the Department of Chemical Sciences, University of Padova, where he leads the Molecular Electrochemistry and Nanosystems Group.
He also is Research Professor at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Connecticut, Adjunct Professor at the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Biology at Temple University, and Research Collaborator at the Department of Chemistry at Princeton University.

Molecular gold nanoclusters, electron transfer, redox catalysis, monolayers and biomimetic membranes on electrodes, electrochemical biosensors.
