Research Interests
- The analysis of persistent organic pollutants (PFAS, PCBs, pesticides, PAHs and their metabolites) and bioactive compounds (environmental estrogens, cyanotoxins and their analogs) at the part-per-trillion (ppt) level using EPA, NOAA, and Center developed methods
- The identification and quantitation of trace level, small bioactive molecules in complex matrices, including food, air, water, soil and biological fluids (blood, urine, saliva, hair, etc.)
- Support a diversity of research projects related to industrial hemp by providing expertise on the isolation and concentration of bioactive compounds, as well as a quantitative assessment of a wide array of associated compounds such as pesticides, micotoxins and terpenes at ultra-trace levels
