Research Interests
- Working at the interface of chemistry, materials science, engineering, and biology, we develop innovative technologies to address unmet market needs in biosensors and bioelectronics
- Our research spans from surface and electrochemistry innovations to the engineering of user-friendly prototypes
- Key areas of exploration include CRISPR- and protein-based microfluidic systems for Alzheimer’s and cancer diagnostics, as well as novel energy-harvesting methods to power battery-free devices, such as deep brain stimulators, cardiac pacemakers, and wearable sensors
