Dr. Jing Zhao & Robert Mason Awarded NSF Grant
Dr. Jing Zhao and Dr. Robert Mason (CHEM/Marine Sciences) were chosen as recipients of a $330,000 NSF award. Dr. Zhao and Mason are co-PIs on a project entitled, “Examining the Role of Nanoparticles in the Formation and Degradation of Methylated Mercury in the Ocean.”
Dr. Greg Sotzing & Colleagues Receive ONR Funding
Profs. Greg Sotzing (CHEM/IMS), Rampi Ramprasad (MSE/IMS), and Yang Cao (ECE/IMS) have received a grant from the Office of Naval Research titled “Rational design of polymer dielectrics via synergistic computations, synthesis and characterization.” The grant is for $1,050,000 and will span 2.5 years.
